Ben Affleck becomes a policeman in this science fiction film, to embody the role of Danny Rourke, a detective in the Austin police department in America. Years have passed since his daughter's abduction and she has not been found to this day. And while he heads with his colleague to follow a possible bank robbery, he connects the events as they develop with the kidnapping of his child and... a crazy chase begins!
Why is it science fiction? As you would have guessed from the title, it is about powerful hypnosis and mind control powers. It's a case of plot-twists, with events twisting and deviating from the original course you thought the story was taking.
The feeling of mystery remains strong throughout the film. You catch yourself thinking that you didn't see something because you are confused by the plot and the development, but before the end credits appear, it leaves you with no question about the total structure!
